The Bicyclist
It was the week spring arrived early…at least by Montreal standards. Early April is a time when Montrealers normally prepare for winters parting blows/snow-storm. This year we had almost a full week of unusually warm and very welcome weather… around 25 deg Celsius one day. I decided to take my new dslr camera for a test run, to record irrefutable proof of the pleasant conditions in case winter was playing another heartless prank. The warm weather of that week has not been repeated thus far but at least spring is here to stay. The above picture was taken from the front passenger seat of my car as we passed the bicyclist on that early spring day.
Reboot!
After an extended hiatus, when visitors were treated to the sublime ‘under construction’ notice, I have decided to reboot this site. I’m not sure why its tough to let go of this domain, given that its been stagnant for over three years…maybe vanity? However, jacobv.com has been around for almost a decade now, it was also my first foray into web design…so I guess nostalgia too?
In its new/latest avataar (yes that’s the correct spelling… you Hollywood sheeple), the site will be in a blog format. What will it contain? Well all of us (including yours truly) will find out soon enough. Probably a bit of all the things that interest me including online marketing, entrepreneurship, digital art (3d/2d), photography, books, politics, films etc.
Maybe a three year break warrants some sort of lengthy explanation, but then again consider that I did not say much in the past three years either 
. So on we go…
